To that end, lots of changes have been made to Chapter 1. Let's talk about some of what is coming to the game.<br><br><strong>Sidequests</strong>&nbsp;while there were one or two oddball ones added to the base game, they weren't that common nor did they really do much. You could hardly call most of these side quests really. That however, will soon change with the introduction of the sidequest system in 0.5.6. One of the chief goals of the sidequest system going in was getting the Player to do more stuff, and to that end, the first two main types were added, the first one being a series of delivery quests you can find in Hanaru Inn.<br><br>The second are a series of 'escort' missions that will pit the Player against the tougher variants of enemies from across the regions as they deliver goods to more hidden villages in the land, which are set to provide their own unique sidequests. Many more quests will be added as time goes on, but the important thing to note is you can't pick and choose the sidequests. NPCs will not trust you with a job until you have completed the tasks prior to them, so it's important to do them in order.<br><br><br></div><div><div id="582463266741684888" align="left" style="width: 100%; overflow-y: hidden;" class="wcustomhtml"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FJA4eEvCxTM" frameborder="0" gesture="media" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div></div><div><div style="height: 20px; overflow: hidden; width: 100%;"></div><hr class="styled-hr" style="width:100%;"><div style="height: 20px; overflow: hidden; width: 100%;"></div></div><div class="paragraph"><strong>Ancient Hills and Forest Ruin Dungeon Revamp&nbsp;</strong><span>The Ancient Hills and the Forest Ruin dungeon are getting complete revamps, with the Forest Ruin gaining a huge more variance in locations, traps, and puzzles. There's even a new true Boss to the dungeon. The Ancient Hills has gotten a ton of polish and area redesigns, with a brand new method of accessing the East Pass, leading into the Frozen Hills and Ancient Desert (inaccessible atm), new Crossroads, and a brand new area theme 'Ancient Hills' added and playing in the Ancient Hills map.</span><br><br><span>Other areas have been substantially revamped as well, such as Hanaru Village and the Hanaru Inn. Unfortunately, we will not be completely customizing Chapter 1&rsquo;s battlebacks before the release of this patch.</font></li><li><font color="#000000"><strong>Monster Tactics</strong><br />The very first instances of this have just started to appear in Chapter 1, but I am hoping to make the battles with enemies far more interesting and dynamic than they have been. Case in point, Pitos will now ambush the Player if they approach holes in the ground in the Ancient Hills. They are also planned to be sensitive in particular to how much gold you have, potentially able to rob you. This will only partially be implemented as well.</font></li><li><font color="#000000"><strong>Bug Fixes</strong><br />Bugs have been a rather nasty pain in our side, and we will likely be struggling with them for a while, but we&rsquo;ve taken a firm whacking spree on many of them, and hopefully the end result will be a worry free gameplay experience.</font></li><li><font color="#000000"><strong>Chapter 2 Storyline (UNIMPLEMENTED)</strong><br />Chapter 2 has been under way for about a month or more now, and while still heavily indev, it exists in the game files and is roughly 2 hours long, potentially longer.
